Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a family with a strong musical background. As a child, she was inspired by the classical music of her parents, boleros as well as the classic romantic, ranchero, as well as romance ballads. Ana loves Tangos. Also, she loves operas as well as any drama. She began singing and learning songs with her mother she began her more intensive singing training at the age of 16 working with the famous Mexican Tenor Flavio Becerra. The School of Music of Guadalajara University and the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico kept her in the music field. In Guadalajara and Mexico City, she was an active member of numerous chamber and opera choirs. She sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to Southern California. She is a frequent soloist at events, private parties and other occasions and performs classical Latin American Music. as a music teacher and musician, she is committed to many projects in the community because of her passion and enthusiasm for music. Ana was also a part of both the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is presently a professor of The Performance Loft. Ana is hoping that, with her performance of Latin American traditional songs, that she can instill a passion, particularly in the younger generations to keep this tradition in the present.
