Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is an acclaimed Indian actress, best famous for her role in Beta Saajan and Hum Aapke Hain Koun. The actress was initially famous for the role she played in the 1980s film Tezaab where she co-starred alongside an established actor Anil Koopor. In the following film, Dil, Aamir Khan appeared alongside her. Her birthplace was in the Mumbai middle-class family, and started dancing when she was a child. She ventured into acting as a youngster and struggled through a couple of years since many of her early films were flops. Her breakthrough came when she finally had success and was one of the most well-known actors in the Indian film industry. After marriage, she experienced a career break before reentering the business. In the last few years, Dixit had a major role to play in Gulaab Gang a movie about the struggle of Indian women. Dixit was nominated 15 times for Filmfare Awards. She won 8 of them. Padma Shri - the fourth most prestigious civilian award of India - was given to Dixit. Social work by her is known to the world.
